I was asked to create a programme for undergraduate keyboard players from different disciplines. The programme would teach them collaborative compositional principles and help them to create their own pieces. This would be held over the course of a project week called ‘incubator’. Our venue was the Pelgrimsvaderskerk in Rotterdam. The final result was live streamed. March 2021.
I created a series of arrangement-exercises called ‘not in C’ which approached group improvisation through 3 different lenses.
I coached the students along with 2 other coaches through the course of the week.
